Shingles And Genital Sores My Wife Suffered An Extreme Case Of Shingles Two Years Ago. Can She Receive The Shingles Vaccination?

My wife suffered an extreme case of shingles two years ago. Can she receive the shingles vaccination? - shingles and genital sores

His attack of shingles came two years ago, but it still has the so-called postheretic nerves. Is there any reason to not be able to be vaccinated against shingles, to reduce the risk of suffering an attack of shingles each rule again?

Yes, the vaccine can be given after an attack of shingles and may reduce the risk of further attack.

Vaccines help the body to antibodies without producing the disease completely. When she had the disease, the body has developed antibodies. Please do not think that could help the vaccine.

The shingles vaccine is not given to anyone under 60 years, and is not for everyone, the shingles had been given.
